Terms of Service

These terms describe use of RiskWise — Order Risk & COD Protection by Sellerwise, operated by Sellerwise.

Authority and appropriate use

You must be authorized to connect and manage the Shopify store, grant the requested access and process its order and customer information. Maintain appropriate notices and permissions and comply with applicable law and Shopify’s terms. Protect access to your Shopify account.

Risk assistance and merchant decisions

RiskWise provides risk-assistance signals, classifications, explanations, order tags, merchant-defined rules and store-specific block/unblock matching. These signals may be incomplete or incorrect and are not guarantees of fraud detection, payment collection or delivery success. Safe does not mean risk-free.

You remain responsible for reviewing orders and making fulfillment, cancellation, refund and other customer decisions. RiskWise does not automatically cancel, refund, hold or fulfill an order solely because of its classification.

Prohibited misuse

Do not use the service unlawfully, gain unauthorized access, attempt to access another store’s data, bypass usage or security controls, disrupt the service, or use customer information for unauthorized profiling or sharing. Do not treat store-specific block entries as a shared customer reputation network.

Plans and billing

Where applicable, Shopify manages plan selection, subscription approval and billing. Review the price, order allowance, billing period and effective changes shown by Shopify before approving a subscription. Plan access depends on verified subscription status and available scan allowance. RiskWise does not collect subscription payment-card details. Uninstallation, cancellation and plan changes follow applicable Shopify billing processes and do not imply a refund of amounts already due.

Availability and changes

Service availability depends on Shopify, infrastructure and supported data access. Maintenance, interruptions and platform changes can affect the service. Features and terms may change, with notice where required. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a promise of a particular commercial or fraud-prevention outcome. Sellerwise is not responsible for merchant decisions made solely in reliance on a risk signal. Any limitation applies only where lawful and does not exclude rights, remedies or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct where applicable.

Termination and uninstallation

You may stop using RiskWise and uninstall it through Shopify. Access may be suspended or ended for misuse, security concerns or legal requirements, subject to applicable law. Uninstallation stops app processing but is not immediate deletion of all history; retention and Shopify redaction workflows are explained in the Privacy Policy.
